Location

Side is a resort town located on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. It is well known for its golden-sand beaches and lively nightlife, but it also boasts some of the finest ancient ruins in the country. The ruins of the Temple of Apollo, the Agora and the Roman Baths are all within easy reach of the town centre, and provide a fascinating insight into the history of Side. In addition to its historical attractions, Side is also a great place for shopping, with many leather goods, jewellery and souvenir shops to be found along its streets. And after a day of exploring or shopping, you can refuel with a delicious Turkish meal in one of the town’s many restaurants.
